Rob Swartwood - Managing Member
Rob is a corporate attorney and outside general counsel to small and middle market businesses throughout the Southeastern United States. He leverages over a decade of experience with large law firms – representing big businesses in complex matters – to assist small and middle market companies and business owners with solving their problems and accomplishing their goals. Rob founded consilium and is the ‘Chief Evangelist’ behind the vision, mission and values that we hold dear. Rob is a true counselor and trusted advisor for many. His methodical problem-solving approach, commitment to excellence, and passion for serving others have distinguished him as one of the top corporate attorneys in Atlanta, and throughout the state of Georgia. Rob graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law after a career in the military. He is a West Point graduate and a former Army officer who served the nation faithfully for fourteen years, including multiple overseas tours. He is a voracious reader, a lifelong learner, and a person of deep faith and conviction. Rob is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Apex, a character development crucible for leaders of faith in business, government, non-profit, and ministry. He’s also writing his first book. Rob is the co-leader of ‘Team Swart’ - his family of five - which he is blessed to share with Mandy. Rob’s favorite place is Jackson, Wyoming and he loves to visit the Tetons.
Mandy Swartwood - Sales, Marketing and Director of Client Experience
Behind every successful business, there are countless ‘unsung heroes’ whose efforts are a lever in the day-to-day operations. Our business is no different. Mandy joins Rob in a variety of critical behind-the-scenes roles with consilium. A writer by design, and a sales and marketing professional by trade, very few things avoid her critical eye. She’s as sharp as a tack, but light as a feather and, as the Enneagram 7 of the team, she brings great energy and joy to who we are and what we do. Mandy graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in English. The opening line to her Myers-Briggs profile actually reads “the world’s natural lawyer;” the irony isn’t lost on us either. In addition to bearing more than her fair share of the load on ‘Team Swart,’ Mandy is an active community volunteer, an avid runner (having completed her first marathon in 2021), a page-turning reader, and a solid and steady friend and influencer for the women in her world. consilium - and what it embodies - is more than just a business. For the Swartwoods, it’s a way of life that actually leads to it. And if we ever do anything worthwhile for business in America with this small company, Mandy will deserve as much of the credit as her frontrunning husband, for she will have helped birth it, shape it, and live it out. Until then, she’s our go-to in sales and marketing, and making sure that our clients experience us in ways that feel more like a friend and a trusted partner than a law firm.
